My Hair Hurts. Help ?!?1?
Okay, this may sound strange, but my hair hurts! I grew my hair out long, its about 2 inches shy of waist length. Where my hair meets my scalp, it tens to get sore like the hair is going in the wrong direction or something. It progressively has been getting worse over the past weeks. I have tried different shampoos (kenra, redkin, herbal essence, dove, for dry or for damaged moisturizing, and also volumizing), blow drying, air drying. I don't have dandruff or anything else. I have worn my Hair Down, pulled back, all the way up, but 12-24 hours after I wash it it still ends up feeling like this in different spots. Any ideas?
If Your Hair is thick, it is probably the weight of the hair. The other thing to be careful about is if you put it in a ponytail , don't put a lot of tension or make it real tight because the pulling on the hair would also hurt your head. If you put your hair half up too and make it tight that too will put a lot of pressure on your scalp. It may be time to consider having some of the length cut off and it will probably help a lot.
