Greasy Hair – Get Rid of Greasy, Oily Hair

Greasy and oily hair is often the result of overactive sebaceous glands – glands co-located with the follicle root.  Sebaceous glands provide moisturizing oils that help Hair Stay soft, elastic and manageable.  For a variey of reasons, sebaceous glands can become overactive and create excess sebum (the oil).
